João's passion for design began at an early age sketching cars, leading him to study industrial design in Lisbon. In love with a project's first movements; with the experience of finding a concept's truth – enjoying the challenge as much as the achievement. As a designer he revels in the ability to make anything possible, reflecting the constant presence of art around us.

Sofia Palma

Product Designer

As the younger designer of the team, Sofia's work as an integral member of a dynamic design team has redefined her parameters as an artist. Fascinated by the way objects can be transformed, combining aesthetics with function. Sofia is largely self-taught, informing her refreshingly honest interpretations. Her goal is to continue to develop these skills and continued to be inspired by movement.

As the curator and fierce protector of our visual universe, Mafalda brings a worldly perspective and over ten years of multidisciplinary design experience to everything she creates. Her background spans branding, visual identity, art direction and digital design. Fueling her creative output is an innate curiosity and a deep love for travel. She thrives on absorbing new ideas, diverse cultures and ways of seeing the world to continuously elevate our creative vision.

Denise Catarino

Office Manager

Denise has over 10 years' experience in the industries of Hospitality, Fintech, Law and now ensures the smooth running of ByBeau. Orchestrating the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps our vibrant workspace running smoothly, seamlessly managing administrative tasks, assisting the Creative Director and Design Team, and collaborating to ensure our daily operations and every project shine with efficiency.
